My grandmother has made this. It is over two meter tall and one meter wide knitted fabric crochet used as a shading screen on the doorway between the living room and guest bedroom. And that is in the house where my grandmother lived for decades. A house with a long history and many stories =)

That blue light is a clock showing what day of the week it is ;-) We bought it to my mother, so that she able to keep track of time.

that's amazing beautiful work, and fabulous light to the picture Sami, it holds a certain mystery behind that curtain. I do hope when she left the house someone took this down.

My mother lives there now ;-) But to whom that crochet goes after her, I don't know. But I'm damn sure I will do everything to see it becomes appreciated! ;-)
