Es ist mehr als 2000 Jahren alt....

Das muss eine riesige Festung gewesen sein, Erich! Wofür oder wogegen wohl? – Ein Scan von einem alten Reise-Foto? Mir macht es auch Spaß, in alten Erinnerungen zu kramen und das eine oder andere hervor zu holen.

Inishmore ist eine Insel aus Fels, Funde belegen, sie wurde bereits in der Bronzezeit besiedelt.
Das Steinfort steht heute weiter nach links auf einer Felsklippe zum Meer. Es bildet einen Halbkreis. Nun wird hinterfragt ob es einst auch die Form eines geschlossenen Kreises hatte und ein Teil samt Klippe ins Meer gestürzt ist.
