It sounds like you've had a lovely weekend with Sophie and I really like the photo of her on the horse you've captured in the PiP. You're making great memories.

In your main image I love that trailing begonia.........the red flowers are stunning and contrast nicely with the lush green leaves. Beautifully sharp and detailed too.

There is never a dull moment when Sophie comes to visit! I was just pleased that there were no falls and that she enjoyed the experience.

Thank you Carol. The flower pots have been the main colour in the garden this summer. It's not looking its best, that's for sure, but it will hopefully return to normal next year.

Sophie had jumped a little at her riding stables, but she is always with a group, so doesn't get as much of a chance on her own. We surprised her with the one to one tuition at our village riding stables. The field is directly behind my house :-) She is my only grandchild and always such good fun to be with.

Beautiful. A mainstay of a few of my hanging baskets at one time. In the end I had about half a dozen baskets for trailing fuchsias only and another 3-4 for a mix and they always included these.

They are Peter, as I am :-) Sophie has regular lessons where she lives but this was a one to one surprise for her as she wants to do more jumping. She loved it! It's raining here at the moment. I am hoping for no rain tomorrow as I'm meeting a friend by the coast. Have a good day.

Thank you very much Jose Manuel. I was quite a long way from Sophie and didn't take the right lens, but I was pleased with this shot. I wish it could have been with her facing the other way, but as long as she was enjoying herself, I didn't really mind.

A fine shot for the family album Rosa, lovely colours and light! Only ever rode a horse once; I will just say that it is a good job that he knew what to do and where we were going;-))
