A November Sunrise

A November Sunrise
One that I took from my bedroom window....no I wasn't sat on the roof! The PiP is of the exquisitely patterned frosty window. Unlike when I was a child, the frost was just on the outside!

Thank you Amelia. Yes and frozen taps in the bathroom!! My father was always first up and then me, so a bit of a wait for the fire to get going. Happy days though ;-))

.. and the horrible feel of cold hot-water bottles in the morning! And yes, happy days! (And athough we generally remember only the happy memories in all this, central heating is not to be sneezed at!)

Andy, the worst was when I came home after a night out and my mum forget to put the hot water bottle in my bed!! I was always too cold or too lazy to go back downstairs to fill one! With all of that they were still very happy days :-))

For me though, the image of the frost in the PiP is my favourite.............it's just exquisitely beautiful and the back lighting is gorgeous.

Thank you Keith. I don't remember having a pattern quite like this before! It is a velux window so maybe the angle made all the difference. It is very nice to wake up to a sunrise.

A lovely contre-jour shot, Rosa. I love the sun's rays shining over the garden wall.

The cold blue colour of the frosty window is the perfect counterpoint to the warm rays of the sun in the picture above.
