Löörmoos – kantonales Naturschutzgebiet. Das Löörmoos ist ein Hochmoor-Flachmoorgebiet mit zwei Wassergraben und zwei Tümpeln. Es ist ein Bestandteil des Inventars der Amphibienlaichgebiete von nationaler Bedeutung. Mit etwas Glück findet man hier den stark gefährdeten Teichmolch und die Erdkröte, Wasserfrosch und Fadenmolch sowie grosse Populationen des grossen Grasfrosches und Bergmolchs. Die grosse Trockenheit, die wir diesen Frühling haben, könnte allerdings zu einem weiteren Rückgang von verschiedenen Populationen führen. Man kann hier gelegentlich sogar Feldgrillen beim Zirpen zuhören, was eigentlich unüblich ist, da sich diese doch eher trockene Habitate suchen. (46.9827, 07.4131); [270°] – swisstopo

Macro Mondays – Mo. 04.05.2020: Diagonale Linien Do you can see the optical illusion? In the main picture it looks as the tiles are swales (concave). In the thumbnail (PiP 1) which is the same picture, you can see that is not! The tiles are elevated (convex), as it should be. It's the same effect as ► HERE (in PiP 4). This effect is called ► The Hollow-Face Illusion.
