Another case of something creeping up on me from behind! These two have a little brother - see - www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/35576291

Our local bus passing the end of our short cul-de-sac. The drivers are instructed not to move off until everyone is seated and passengers are exhorted not to get up until the bus has come to a complete stop! It runs a circular route around Seaford every half-hour during school/shopping hours, on weekdays - hourly on Saturdays, but no service on Sundays. It's very handy as it starts from the supermarket and calls at the stop at the end of our road - ten metres from this shot!

A Pink bus shelter with a Bench - two groups at once - I might even try the London Bus group as well! I know that the bench can hardly be seen, but someone is sitting on it! One tiny confession - the height of the lamp-post has been reduced slightly to stop the lower part looking too small! As part of a regeneration scheme some well-known locally based artists have contributed designs to cheer up the area.

Red buses just don't go with seaside floral displays!

Additional info. Saturdays are the only days Compass runs this service. Monday to Friday it is a Cuckmere Community Bus service. On Saturdays the 120 alternates with the 119, offering hourly services around Seaford and Bishopstone. Although the 120 travels along the seafront there are no stops there! It is the only service that even touches the seafront. Gary is the driver in this photo. He drives the 119 on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. Dave does Monday to Wednesday. There is no town bus service on Sundays.

More correctly this is the bus stand at Peckham Bus Station.

The great projecting 'ski slopes' carry a huge array of solar panels, powering the lighting and other facilities in this bus station. It is at an important transport intersection, with main roads to Victoria and Westminster to the north and the south of London the other way, crossing a main east - west route, running along the river Thames. There is an Underground railway station on the Victoria line and the mainline station serves trains on the route from the Southwest of England into nearby Waterloo station.
