Twittens from Seaford to Bishopstone - 6.10.2015

Twittens from Seaford to Bishopstone - 6.10.2015
This path runs from very near Seaford town centre, in a fairly straight line, through a series of twittens and a stretch of fairly modern (1930s probably) road, until it reaches the edge of the houses. It then goes across the fields down into the valley with the old village of Bishopstone at the bottom.
A pleasanter view from the Bishopstone end of the route is at www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/39255478

We have only heard it since we moved here, so maybe it is a Sussex or southern counties term.

Among the most boring photos I have taken! That's what comes of joining groups. You see something relevant and you have to take it.Sad ain't it?

....but when you turn around and go to the top of the twitten and across a field - you then find a view like - www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/26250675 - so it is worth a few minutes walking between fences when you can reach the South Downs so easily.
