These redwoods on the North side of Sonoma Mountain are the furthest East redwoods in Sonoma County, California.
I was there a few months ago... after they let us go to the parks again.
Coffee can pinhole paper negative, exposure was about an hour.

Solstice to solstice: 21 Dec 2018 to 21 Jun 2019.
This is an 8x10 inch pinhole paper negative inside a canister, aimed so that it is pointed at an altitude of 90° - my latitude. At the autumnal equinox the sun traced a straight line across the middle. The winter and summer solstices are at the bottom and top.
In the spring, tall grass grew up in front of the can, leaving those tall shadows. Below the sun streaks are the tops of some distant eucalyptus trees. The white "stains" around the edges are where water damaged the paper emulsion.
