I got 4 boards from BatchPCB again, only this time 2 of them had broken traces. Fortunately they can be fixed as shown.
This revision now supports auto reset and has a smaller spacing between the pads for the solder bridges. The next one will come with jumpers.

A good machine, except for the thermal lockout mechanism. It just works too god. It effectively prevents me from filling the machine with hot water by hand.

Normally it locks the lid if the machine is running and/or the water is above 40°C.
But you can trick this mechanism by pushing down the left plastic piece. Unfortunately it tricks you back and stays locked. Now you can't close the lid anymore!

2009 has been a pretty tough year for everybody it seems. I’ve had a big share of nasty setbacks myself. Let’s hope the next decade of the second millennium has more pleasant things in store for us. Let’s make 2010 the perfect year. Concentrate on what really matters to you and quit being somebody else’s dog. Bite back!
