22:39 The Milkyway, from the zenith to the horizon. It is amazing how many airplanes and satelites are visible on a clear night. You can hardly take a picture without them.

22:20 Der Grund dahin zu fahren war die Milchstrasse bis zum Horizont zu fotografieren. Am Horizont waren aber dauernd Wolken. Trotzdem, so weit südlich habe ich die Milchstrasse noch nie erwischt. Hatte auch gehofft später zu fotografieren, aber die Luftfeuchtigkeit wurde zu hoch. Im Nebel zurückgefahren. Im Moor auch ein Erlebnis

22:17 Noch etwas hell. Fast Wolkenlos aber eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit, daher die etwas "wässeriche" Sternbilder. Später wurde es noch schlimmer und musste ich jede 30 sekunden die Linse trocknen. Um 23:30 Uhr war es schluss.

Even in this highly lightpolluted region you get more stars on the chip than you see by naked eye. Most of the stars you see belong to the constellation Perseus

See on black. Taken from our hotelroom in Castellammare di Stabia. Obviously a lot of lightpollution from Castellammare, Pompei, Naples (to the left) etc, but when you look carefully you can see a lot of stars. Needed a lot of work to get this right.
