visible in the western sky, shortly after sunset. Of the planets visible with the naked eye it is the most difficult one to observe because it is always near the sun and therefore only visible shortly after sunset or shortly before sunrise.. So it is not an easy and spectacular object to find
Uranus

Canon 700D, f=85 mm, f/1.4, ISO 1600, T=2 sec. Mond war sehr störend

and tonight maybe the last easy chance to catch the comet. It is between Mars and Aldebaran and close to the Hyades. A DSLR with f=50 mm ISO 1600 T=few seconds should be enough to get a glimpse of this comet.

Three open starclusters, the well known Plejades and Hyades and NGC 1647 and the planet Mars (overexposed)

Combined three exposures. Long exposures at 19:17 and 22:00 to show Mars and short exposure to show details af the Moon (f=200 mm)
The PiP shows also three exposures combined, this time f=145 cm and the long exposure picture with the corona around the Moon was taken at 22:00

Saturn and 5 of his moons

The images of the moons are blurred by the long exposure times and the turbulence of the atmosphere of the earth
Jupiter and Saturn
Saturn und 4 seiner Monde
|
|
|
|
Moon close to Jupiter

In this picture the Moon is overexposed in order to be able to see Jupiter. The Pip shows a shorter exposure time picture of the moon, f=140 mm
Titan and Rhea
|
|
|
|
Here I took only the images of Titan (the bright ones) and Rhea and put them in one picture. It starts to show the orbits of these moons of Saturn. Images were taken on 31-8, 22-9, 7-10, 8-10 and 9-10 2022. On 22-9 and 8-10 Titan was at the same position (whence only 4 positions), this agrees with the orbital period of 15,9 days.
