The Rosetta Nebula is an emission nebula surrounding the open starcluster NGC 2244. It is located east of Betelgeuse, one of the brighter stars in the constellation Orion. The apperent size is about two full moons

Canon 700D with Tamron 70-200 mm objective; f=200 mm, f/3,5, ISO 1600, combination of 300 exposures of 15 sec each (T=75 minutes). Tracked with telescope mount

Danke Aleks, für mich war es eigentlich auch schon zu spät. Ich hatte es mir vorgenommen diesen Nebel in Dezember zu tun weil ich es dann in die zweite Nachthälfte fotografieren kann, dann sind hier die Strassenlaternen aus und sind die Bedingungnen wesentlich besser. Dezember war aber sehr schlecht mit dem Wetter. Aber mit diesem Bild bin ich auch sehr zufrieden.

Die Farben sind immer einzigartig..und ich möchte einmal sooo viele Sterne mit dem bloßen Auge erkennen können...so viele werden durch das Licht verschluckt...zum Hinaufträumen schön Ko!
