Much prettier than yesterdays spider ;-)

Spotted this one in a neighbours garden and manage to get a couple of shots before it scuttled away. If you look closely you can just see a pair of wings near its mouthpart, which I think means it's was just finishing off an aphid lunch.

There's a shot from a slightly different perspective in the PiP. Thanks for looking!

Man kann dieses Flügelpaar sehr gut erkennen lieber Keith,klasse hast du das wieder gesehen und beobachtet und ein sehr schönes Bild von diesen Asiatischen Marienkäfer gemacht,super hebt sich der Käfer vom Hintergrund ab,als er so rauf kam :))

Another splendid closeup Keith. Yes aphids are their favoured meal. When Eileen spotted a ladybird in the window, she carried it out to our greenfly infested rose bush and it had a delightful time.

Thanks very much Herb...........people sometimes don't realise how voracious these lovely little bugs are........apparently they can eat up to 50 or 60 aphids a day. Definitely the gardeners friends.,
