There are some lovely (but very expensive). houses around the edge of the harbour and many are quite old, so the canopy is probably original.

I've had a quiet but pleasant Sunday........hope you have too. We also have cold and bright weather!

Always good to see a pony and trap. I saw one by one of our Yorkshire reservoirs a year or so back now. The drivers are invariably people of some character. A great capture here. Well done.

A very relaxed feel in both these photos, reminiscent of a slower pace of life, unhurried and carefree. Happy times eh? I love those hairy fetlocks which have clearly been through water.

I couldn't agree more Amelia............the walkers were certainly enjoying the sight as well with lots of photos being taken on phones.

The road is only passable at low tide and there are usually some deep puddles around. Thanks for your lovely words.

I love both of these views. What fun it must be to travel in a horse wagon like that! My dad was one of the last farmhands to work with horses. He just loved them.
