I usually try and set aside an hour or two each day to visit all my contacts, but it's not always possible. Even though I'm now retired there are still other demands on my time!

The perfect autumn photo, fallen leaves in all colours! A good thing you always take your camera- I often don't and I often regret it;-)

You're right Güni..........the area in question usually looks very dirty and neglected (sadly, much like a lot of the town centre) :-(

The leaves really brightened it up and the rain made it look cleaner and fresher than it was. Glad you like it and thanks for your nice comments.

Definitely autumn, and the glorious colours improve the look of these somewhat drab steps. I get a tad nervous if I take a walk without a camera. Often a scene suddenly demands a photo ....

It has been known that I have a camera but the battery has run out. That is a tragedy. ;-)

Thanks Amelia..........that part of our town is a bit of dump. Shuttered and closed shops and pretty much neglected :-(

I have a small camera bag which just fits a camera and a 12-100mm lens, which is my daily carry. If it's a serious photography day, I usually carry a 12-40mm and a 40-150mm lens, but the older I'm getting, the less inclined I am to carry too much gear with me.

Ha, ha........I always carry at least two spare batteries :-)))

I don't know who originally said this, but I can relate to it..."The further away from the car park, the less photogenic a scene gets!"

We think of Autumn as all brown dead leaves,.. but looking at your capture here,.and others around - it's not the case,..there are some brilliant colours to be found.. here we just need a bit of sunshine to light up the golden canopy of the woodlands,.. Keep well - and Cheers' from Dj.

Es sind die Blätter eines Amberbaums. Die verfärben sich immer sehr schön im Herbst. Du scheinst eine ruhige Hand zu haben. 1/6 und knackscharf!
