Gulls in Flight

Gulls in Flight
Taken on Hayling Island a couple of days ago.......grey, wet and windy, but the gulls seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I didn't have to do much to turn this into black and white!

Special K, Jean-luc Drouin, Roger (Grisly), * Didier 85 * and 20 other people have particularly liked this photo

A beautifully sharp image Keith. With the skies we have had lately, hardly any need to convert to black and white! The sky actually suits this shot with the seagulls very well.

That's alright Keith, a lot of work for the cameras metering but it's turned out OK.

Keith, this is just magnificent!! I love everything about it! It's also very peaceful. Wonderful bit of perfection! The framing is the icing on the cake. Simple and just right.

TY for your kind remarks on my farm photos, glad you enjoyed the "cheesy grin" on the pony, lol! The whole lot of pictures wasn't all that marvelous but showed our visit highlights nicely. As for the cheese, yes it was nice we didn't have to drop any coin for bad cheese! And for that matter, a regular chain-store-type cheese is just fine with me too--we have blocks of cheddar for non-special cheese jobs like an omelet or mixed into recipes. Only when it's a garnish or by itself is when we prefer a specialty cheese. My go-to snack cheese is a warmed-up packet of string cheese! No fuss, no muss and yummy as can be! :)

Du hast die beiden gut getroffen. Ich weiß, wie schwierig es ist, sie im Flug scharf abzubilden. Ein klasse Schuss, Keith!

Always nice to catch wildlife like this my friend. You could have got an even better action shot if only you would have held up your fish n chip tray :) Great work, even so. Nice suitable frame too. Well done.

Thanks for dropping in Herb..............I always appreciate your comments. The gulls were pretty much the only things around in the grotty weather!
