West Dean Gardens

West Dean Gardens
My first reall trip out for a while, nothing too strenuous, just a slow walk around West Dean Gardens in West Sussex for an hour or so. We were lucky with the weather and I got a stack of photos too.

Please view large, on black. Thank you.

An enchanting spring meadow. The flowers glow like yellow spots of colour in the green grass.

Pleased to hear you are getting out and about more now. This is so beautiful and so typically English! Even more impressive when viewed large. I love the depth and the sheep and the superb sky!! Altogether beautiful!!

.....good idea to take a photo there..and stay for a while...that´s lovely!
This spring many flowers are missing here...it was too dry last year and until April...no dandelions behind my house ;(((

Thank you Tanja................the gardens are simply lovely and it's almost impossible to take a bad picture.

I think nature has been pretty confused this year........nothing has flowered when it should, except perhaps for the weeds!

It was indeed Colin.

Not fully recovered yet.........it'll be another few weeks yet, but definitely better. I'm OK if I stick to flat ground and don't overdo it.
