Three bits of salt on white paper
I asked for and received for Christmas one of these simple "digital microscopes." It doesn't work as well as I hoped, but I've been playing with it to get the gist of its operations. I intend to push it to its limits. . .

Thanks. I am looking forward to getting the best out of it. Already I know that the images suffer from my having no control over the aperture (nor the effective shutter speed) and from my not yet figuring out yet how to keep the sensor still.
