Atop Jack Baker's Hill

Atop Jack Baker's Hill
It wasn't really warm (like about seven degrees Celcius) and the wind
was blowing a near gale, but it was a great day for walking. So nine
of us (and Sally the dog) made the trek up Jack Baker's Hill and then,
down below, to Archie's Island. We had a great feast afterwards.

I never get *every*thing right in my cameras. To my mind, this is a
pleasant picture, but it woulda bin better if I had set the speed
lower than ISO2000. And if I had gotten it horizontal without having
had to turn the image in PSP.

There is a lot of forgiveness in recent digital cameras, a lot more than there was in film. A film shot at ASA 1600 would have produced nothing as detailed as this!
