A House by the Ballyard
A few weeks back I mentioned the "ever-dwindling set of small houses" on the north side of Bridge Street in Battle Creek. I counted those today, and found that three remain. One is the office for the local baseball team, the Battle Creek Bombers. One is clearly being used as a home. And this one could be a home--but I suspect it's the office for a landscape company, though it's not so labelled.
Anyway, the house is at the end of the parking lot I use when I watch the Bombers play, and is mere feet from two lighted baseball diamonds. I certainly hope the folks who've lived here over the years are baseball fans.
