Lake Michigan

Friday was among the prettiest days I've ever seen. The air was crystal-clear, the sky was delightfully blue, and the temperatures were perfect. But we had over 500 miles to travel, so most of my photo ops were from a moving car.

US-2 runs along the southern edge of the Upper Peninsula, and offers intermittent Lake Michigan vistas. Here's the best of several shots I made through the passenger window during Friday's long trip home. We were somewhere east of Manistique, but really that doesn't matter.
