Doors

While all photographs can be interpreted as experiments with light, some photographs are explicitly that. A year ago the sun was pouring into my otherwise-dark living room, tempting me to capture the resulting contrasts.

The Doors photo, above, is of our entryway. Really I've nothing more to say about it.

The map I photographed and posted to 366 Snaps a year ago was purchased in Traverse City from a nautically-themed art gallery which later moved to Harbor Springs. I still miss the TC incarnation. Joan's mom grew up around Lake Charlevoix, so we've ties to the area.
