Thank you Janet - yes this is a view I wouldn't mind waking up to I can tell you. I love your photos as you well know and look forward to learning more about your adventures. My son came today and he brought his new camera with him and it's the same camera as yours, except he has the zoom lens rather than a macro - gorgeous camera.

It's always fun to share photos and comments with you, Jenny! :) And you'll certainly get to read of our adventures as they begin to happen.

I am surprised you didn't just STEAL your son's camera for yourself! :D "Camera? What camera? I don't know anything about your camera!" :D Maybe he'll let you take it out for a spin! :)

Thanks for the comments on my dahlia pictures btw! Glad you liked them, it's such fun to share such gorgeous blossoms for everyone to enjoy! :) Your brother had Danish Flag dahlias? How nice! I'm sure they were incredible. :)

Oh my son had a very strong hold on his camera when he came to show me it - LOL. Why I don't know I'm sure!!!!! Yes the Danish Flag dahlia was my brother's favourite flower. It was red and white and resembled the Danish flag (obvious when you think of it!!).

Bedankt Frans. Ja, het is geweldig dat mijn dochter me foto's stuurt om me te herinneren aan waar ze woont en ook om me te laten zien waar ze me naartoe wil brengen wanneer ik haar bezoek.
