I canned 51 quarts of green beans yesterday. (Friday, March 20th, 2015.) I bought them on Thursday afternoon and started breaking them then, and finished breaking them on Friday in between putting batches of 7 into my pressure canners and keeping them both working hard.
Now, I am officially sick of looking or touching green beans. Hopefully, I won't have to do this again for a year or two.

The green beans lasted exactly three years before I needed to can some more. Of the 51 I canned that day, one didn't seal, so I ended up with only 50 quarts. But they lasted for three years, so that's pretty good.
