What you say about looking at even the most inconspicuous subjects, is quite correct, but most of us, I suspect, are nowhere near as good at it as you are!

I would never have thought to examine the bottom of a leaf stem as you have done here! It's really fascinating to see in this series. Each image is captured in lovely light and with superb detail where it's needed. My favourite is your main image, but I like them all..!!
