A while ago I posted a photo of a brass window frame being polished. www.ipernity.com/doc/grahamh/52274674 Here is one of the two of them installed in the loco. See PiP for context. The frames have been in for a while, I'm just a bit slow in showing the job completion. June 2024.

Tin Can Bay. October 2021. Staff checking the dolphins which have arrived for the feeding. Mouse-over to see dolphins. Fenced walkway to a boat parking area and beyond a small beach where the paying public can be part of hand feeding fish to dolphins. HFF all, for 24/05/24.

The job is complete. It is adjusted correctly and the sleeper tops are covered with a preservative oil. In the far upper right the points lever for DownsSteam's main line access is seen, the same type as has been replaced here. The white device over the rail is named a choke block and is there to derail anything which, if ever, rolls away in DownsSteams's yard before gets to the mainline. It is hinged out of the way when a train enters or leaves. April 2024.

At Wyreema loop on a training run. DownsSteam's loco C16 106 has uncoupled from the far end of the carriages and is moving on the other track of the loop to connect to the train near where this shot is taken from. April 2024.

3801 is accelerating a freight out of Goulburn towards Sydney on 17/01/1967. HFF to you on Friday 26/04/2024.

Parked in a Parkes park, NSW loco 3075, originally built as a 4-6-4 tank but later after suburban electrification in Sydney was converted to the 4-6-0 tender form seen here. In this form they worked on many branch lines and in the last years of steam some were shunters in some centres. Seen here in March 2007. HFF fellow Ipernityers for Pi Day 2024.

Looking in the Down direction towards Armidale. Probably sometime in the 1980s. (Scanned from a colour print). This station is still in use in 2024 and looks much tidier I'm told. HBM for 04/03/24.
