Scotland East Coast
Kittiwakes & pips, HFF
Over 600 pairs of this small gull annually use the ruins of Dunbar Castle as a nesting colony from February to August and the noise is unbelievable, The tower holds a web cam that broadcasts live nest images on the internet.

Rust HFF
Eyemouth, Scottish Borders, the water on the left runs onto the beach and the trappings that go with it, on the right is the entrance to the harbour which featured with the lifeboat on a sandbar in a previous image,
Markings on the side of the cut give an idea of the tidal range on this stretch of North Sea coast, however for me the sky is the most impressive part of the image.
Large for detail,

On a Shout (pips)
The Eyemouth Trent Class all weather lifeboat "RNLB Barclaycard Crusader" off to a shout on an extremely low tide in fact there was not enough water under the boat for it to clear the harbour entrance without many minutes shunting and disturbing sand from under the keel (pip 1) before finally forcing itself free and into open water (pip 2)
Just for the Light !
Posted for the beautiful light, Burnmouth harbour as the sun descends through the early evening cloud,
