On a gloomy day

Lovely light despite the gloomy sky, This is the Church of St Mary the Virgin at Stogumber from the churchyard elevation, Main entrance is from the other side but I preferred this view mainly for the sky and the light on the red sandstone tower.

You're spot on about the light Roger..........it's been nicely diffused through the clouds. There's a lovely hint of pink there too.

The church is really beautiful.........I love the colour of the stonework and you've captured the detail superbly.
