Winter colour, PIP

You are certainly getting plenty of the white stuff. We have some here but nothing like elsewhere. Fife sometimes escapes because it is between the Forth and Tay estuaries, surrounded more or less by water.

Many thanks Jean, It's been really cold and very dull for weeks however we have seen the sun everyday since the snow arrived, although it is still very cold.

Many hanks D, I would use something stronger than cool about the temperature here at the moment although the snow has now stopped and is slowly dissipating the thermometer has yet to start rising, brrr

None at all here Roger, obviously you were able to get out for a bit but looks like you have had your fair share of the white stuff. I'm viewing this on the tablet where colour reproduction is not good anyway.

What no snow Maurice how did your part of the world miss out ?, That is the problem with the weather it's so dull we have no colour pretty much everything is grey.

we were on the very edge of the snow front as it slowly passed NE into the North sea, 20 miles down the road they got plenty.

We have been up to 10 degrees today .

Almost a monochrome shot Roger - and what an amazing difference from the image in the PiP.

Nevertheless, the diffused light is quite lovely and the snow makes the trees look really delicate and beautiful You've exposed for the snow perfectly,

We had one day of snow here, it didn't even last 24 hours. We seem to be getting alternative sunny and grey rainy days, but it's been really cold and I haven't been out much. I hope it warms up for you soon.

Just the fact that were taken on different cameras makes a difference I didn't use the good camera for the snow shot just in case the weather turned bad again.

We look even worse than this. Seems like winter will never end.

Overall Ron we have had a remarkable easy winter, lots of very dull days followed by a superb February, hope you weather picks up quickly.

Very well captured and a spot-on musical choice for 'Sight and Sound'. Don't remember this track by Chris Rea. A good one!
