165/365 2025 Carnival Adventure

We anchored off Tangalooma Resort on Moreton Island, near Brisbane, in Queensland, and went ashore. We had sailed to Tanglooma before, late 90s, in a small yacht, anchoring inside of the wrecks, so it was interesting to see how it caters for cruise ships. There is a long paved promenade leading to the main resort where there is plenty of space for everyone, bar, restaurants/cafes etc. Beyond this there is a lawn area, fronting the sandy beach, where you can walk to the Wrecks.

It was very busy, fully booked, but easy to find tranquil spaces. Plenty of choice in dining, some great decor, the Oasis is a highlight (aft adults only pool and bar) We enjoyed it, but managed to come back with a cold/flu/coughing virus... not so good.
