At sea, cruising off Australia's Eastern coast back to Sydney, on Carnival Adventure. 166/365 20250615_105054

We anchored off Tangalooma Resort on Moreton Island, near Brisbane, in Queensland, and went ashore. We had sailed to Tanglooma before, late 90s, in a small yacht, anchoring inside of the wrecks, so it was interesting to see how it caters for cruise ships. There is a long paved promenade leading to the main resort where there is plenty of space for everyone, bar, restaurants/cafes etc. Beyond this there is a lawn area, fronting the sandy beach, where you can walk to the Wrecks. 165/365 IMG_4835

On Cruise Ship Carnival Adventure, in the Byron Beach Club. From Sydney to Tangalooma Resort on Moreton Island, near Brisbane. Very enjoyable :-) The Byron Beach Club, gives some advantages, including this more private place, priority embarkation/disembarkation, luggage priority, etc. We thought it was good value. The ship was very busy, fully booked, vibrant with people of all ages, and nationalities. Sunday challenge 152 - Composition rules - triangles. 20250615 101652

Sunset cruise on "Set Sail at the yachtie" catamaran, out of Mooloolaba in Queensland..

Mooloolaba Harbour lies north of Moreton Bay at the mouth of the Mooloolaba River. The harbour is protected from the offshore swell by nearby Point Cartwright. It is a popular tourist resort as well as home to a large fishing fleet. Sunset cruise on "Set Sail at the yachtie" catamaran. Extra pics are in the first comment.
