Our cat Dora frequently ambushes our Westie, Angus, throwing her paws around his neck. He tolerates her but does not understand her at all :-) I keep trying to catch the moment without success, so here are some easier subjects.

Thanks Val. Though often called the koala “bear,” this cuddly animal is not a bear at all; it is a marsupial, or pouched mammal. After giving birth, a female koala carries her baby in her pouch for about six months. For many decades, the precise taxonomic classification of the giant panda was under debate because it shares characteristics with both bears and raccoons. However, molecular studies indicate the giant panda is a true bear, part of the family Ursidae.
