The sport which I have enjoyed over the years is sailing. We learnt to sail dinghies on lakes and dams near Johannesburg in South Africa. Moving to Cape Town, we sailed in Hout Bay. Then in England we sailed on the Solent in keel boats, and had many sailing holidays in the Mediterranean.

In Australia we had a trailer sailer which we raced in Canberra, upgraded to a keel boat when we moved to Brisbane. Our last boat was a Cavalier 32, which we sold in 2001. Since then we have chartered up in the Whitsunday Islands.
