I once swore I would never take a kitty-cat picture, but my first upload following the disruption is of a kitty-cat. Well, I've told people other things, too.
Better big, I swear (type Z to see).
Good to be back and looking forward to everyone's uploads. I haven't been commenting because I was without internet for a while (I moved again) but I'm now re-connected.

Happy new year. I hope this year's wish will be more effective than last year's.
I've been occupied with other things so haven't been here much. Once the other things are finished with (in a week or so) I'll have more time. May Ipernity soon restore to us the gift of uploading.

Hello again.
I uploaded this just before the disruption in service. It was taken ten years ago at the corner of Bay and Wellesley in Toronto.

Pre-pandemic London.
I find the large version more interesting. Type Z to see if you agree.

The station opened in 1875 and was designed by Edward Wilson, an engineer for the Great Eastern Railway.
I recommend the larger view (type Z).

Here are the lower floors of the building by Uno Prii that I posted a view of yesterday (it's also in the PiP at upper left).
I think this definitely looks better large. Type Z to see if you agree.

20 Prince Arthur Ave, Toronto (1968, Uno Prii).
Uno Prii designed many apartment buildings in Toronto (and many elsewhere) in the 1960s, although other Toronto architects scorned them. His sin seems to have been that unlike them he didn't consider a big box with boxy balconies stuck to the outside the epitome of elegance. In a 1960s guide to Toronto architecture photos of his buildings are provided as comic relief, and his name is not given.
But he kept putting up cylindrical buildings, buildings with curves, and buildings with colour, and finally people are coming to respect his work.
The PiP at upper left shows a view of the lower floors of this building, where its curves are more evident.
And here's a link to several more photographs of his buildings, including a longer view of this one:
