Happy Day!

In Canada today is either, depending on where you live, Victoria Day or la Journée Nationale des Patriotes. I'd prefer to celebrate les Patriotes but in Ontario the Old Queen gets the nod. So here's a display of national, provincial, and territorial flags.
I've put notes on the provincial and territorial flags I can identify. Unfortunately, there's no identifiable shot of the two flags I like most -- Quebec's (the fleurdelisé ) and Nunavut's. Ontario has the dullest flag to my mind. Manitoba's is almost as dull but at least has a buffalo on it. Here's a link to a graphic of all the flags.

The graphic has the national flag wrong, but the other flags seem correct.
The view is from Nathan Phillips Square toward the Toronto Eaton Centre.

She blows up real good. According to me. Click the pic or type Z to see what you think.

And a happy Victoria Day/Journée nationale des Patriotes! Even if you don't know what they are!
Extra added PiP at top left!

Update: This installation has been removed. It did last at least five years, though; this photo was taken in 2014 and the photo in the PiP in 2009.

The architect's site doesn't mention this house, so I don't know what it looks like now. If I could remember the address I could look it up on Street View, but I don't remember the address.

Lost view

The lower part of this view has been lost, at least, A wall has since been built in front of the lower part of these silos. The silos store dry edible beans. I grew up near here, and if you've ever lived near stored beans you know how delightful their aroma can be on certain days.
We used to get beans there for our peashooters. Someone could have put someone's eye out.

Spadina rhymes with mynah, except when you're talking about Spadina House, when it's pronounced Spadeena. It's from an Ojibway word ( ishpadinaa ) that means ridge or hill
