Toronto house #18

Toronto house #18
A bay-and-gable triplex on Sherbourne St. in Toronto. I suspect the porch is new; that and the door may explain why this house doesn't have a heritage designation.

At the moment it seems to be under renovation, after which it will have four aoartments and a Toronto Community Housing office.

Thanks, Jaap. New housing is still often built in a stripped-down version of this style.

Yes, Jocelyne, a passerby helps create tension in an architectural photo, especially when they're young and blonde.

Heritage designation or not, this is a really lovely looking house. Seen from this perspective the I love the almost perfect symmetry.

Nicely captured John.

I assume it was by accident you managed to get a long-legged blonde jogger in the frame :-)

Thanks, Keith. There's no accident about the long-legged woman, though. They are tremendous at adding tension to a photo, especially if you can catch them striding. Well, I find them tremendous at that; others may differ.
