There is so much glass in downtown Toronto, Gisela, that many sections of street are illuminated on both sides all day. I live further north, but in the morning I get light from the west on my balcony rather than from the east. I particularly liked the person's red hat, which attracts attention to them as the anchor. That saved me painting it red, I suppose.
