I think the large version looks better. Click the photo or type Z to find out.

Good for a greedy eyes exam.

Yes, I think you would have to be really greedy to score well here.

Whatever appetite I had has disappeared.
It never fails to astound me how appalling imagery and clueless marketing still predominates at this end of the fast food sector. Tragically self-defeating on every front! (imho). For zilch extra cost but just a soupcon of imagination, a dramatic transformation could be made.
And have just seen:

Oh, I agree, Andy. A little care with the lighting and a different background would have been much better. Those are the sickliest-looking spring rolls I have ever seen,

I suppose my camera may not have been kind to them, though, I don't recall ever being impressed by these photos, though, and I go by here often.

No, you were right to highlight these deficiencies!
You also see the opposite end of the scale with photos of food so garish that it looks as if a Geiger counter pointed in the direction of one of the photos would self-destruct in protest!

I think it's fun, with the peeping Thomasina as well. But it certainly doesn't encourage me to want to patronize whatever culinary establishment was so misguided. And the "public restroom" style of the surrounding architecture doesn't help.

Thanks, Bob. It just occurred to me this place has been around for years, so maybe if you disregard the signs it's worth a visit.

Well seen and composed, a brutal context for these truly awful food photos. I think the only comment is 'food for thought".

Graffiti is mysterious.

Post women are so erotic!

They are mysterious, aren't they? They look like a phone number, but whose?

I wonder if the postwoman here was deliberately placed there or if it was just a lucky accident.

Stomach turning food images, enhanced by the seedy surroundings, as a whole though, it is strangely appealing!
