Kitty kept getting in the way of my photo, so I finally succumbed and took his picture. I cropped it, added blur and processed the image for an Impressionist feel. I realized that I had originally posted the partially finished image so I substituted this finished image for it. TSCIMG 7863

The Sunday Challenge: It's Mothers day here in North America so lets honor our Mom's, Mum's, wives, sisters, any female that may be or wants to be a Mom. So I think we need a few words ON the picture, not under it. All images MUST be Vertical images, twice or more tall as they are wide. Mothers devote their lives to raising children and then they have to set them free to fly away. This is a photograph of a portion of an art installation than hangs from the ceiling of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. TSCP1000223

I took a fairly ordinary photo of a street scene in Nantucket, Massachusetts and converted it into a much more interesting orb that reflects the town. If you look closely, you can see the Atlantic Ocean, the harbor, gray shingled buildings, bright red doors, cobblestone and brick walkways, visitors with bicycles, Adirondack chairs, quaint street lamps and charming stores. The Sunday Challenge: Inversion I inverted the colors and cranked up the saturation. The competition was partially sponsored by a car dealership, which is why automobiles were placed on the course. The original photo was rather static, but the inverted image is much more energetic.
