This does not look like the most comfortable place to nap, but leopards prefer to nap in trees where they cannot be attacked by lions or hyenas, rather than on the ground. They sleep 12-15 hours a day and often hunt in the evenings, nights and early mornings.

I enjoy photographing animals and travel photography. Sometimes, I am lucky and can combine the two.

I've seen leopards sleeping in all sorts of positions in wildlife documentaries, but never contorted like that. :)
