I was sitting on the beach disappointed that there were no good photos to take when I looked up and saw this.

For almost the entire winter there has been 1 to 2 feet of snow on the ground. If I took any photos they would have been dismal and grey. Finally some color.

One of my challenges when sitting on the beach is to capture a bird in flight without it being blurry. Not my best but pretty close.

I didn't plan to go there so I only had my phone. High Point State Park is at 1,803 feet above sea level the highest elevation in the state of New Jersey.

In my never ending project to sort and organize my photos I sometimes come across ones that I missed or for some reason didn't like at the time. I'll upload more as I find them.
One Tough Little Flower

In the fall we started a project and our entire front was dug up including all the flowers. Winter came quickly and the yard was left with just stones and gravel until they can get back and finish. We didn't expect anything to grow but this one pushed up through the stones.

I've lived on the lake for 22 years and there are several eagle nests nearby. I see them all the time but never was able to get a good shot.Today I looked out my window and saw these two on the ice. One had a fish and didn't want to share with the other.

It's pretty cold in Florida right now and there is a power station where the water used to cool the station comes out and attracts fish and manatees trying to keep warm.
