Another view south and east over the Amber valley taken from Cocking Tor, near Ashover, Derbyshire. In the distance is the Ogston Reservoir and the small but well defined hill, Ashover Hay. Ashover village is visible on the extreme left edge.

Cocking Tor is an airy slab of Ashover Grit (Namurian), with a vertiginous drop on two sides.
