I was driving around randomly, chasing mountains and interesting rock formations, when I came across this structure. It's The Integratron, a local landmark; people travel from all over for their sound bath meditation sessions, but it also apparently has an interesting history...

From the plaque:

"The Integratron is the creation of George van Tassel, and is based on the design of Moses' Tabernacle, the writings of Nikola Tesla, and telepathic directions from extraterrestrials.

"The purpose of the Integratron is the rejuvenation of the human body, similar to recharging a battery, and basic research in time travel."

So, yeah. Designed with the help of aliens to help with time-travel research. I <3 the desert... :)
