Gallup, NM (# 0452)
Obviously, I took the photo for the sign.
Turney’s Trading in downtown Gallup – I searched around and could only find tidbits about the store. Apparently the store was started in the 1950’s and has been in various locations, all downtown. They do sell items created by native American tribes in the general area, but it appeared that the store is not owned by native Americans. I found no comment about the sign.
