Rio Grande Gorge Taos junction bridge (# 0980)

On the recommendation of a ranger at the Rio Grande Gorge Visitor Center (excellent source of information), I had taken this backroad route up along the river. At this point I'm shifting from a paved road along the river to a relatively steep, but well-graded, dirt road up out of the gorge. This is the Taos Junction Bridge, built in 1930. And, yes, the guy standing at the railing did jump, just not a time when I could catch the jump..
