Lordsburg NM (# 0787)
Business I-10 on the north side of Lordsburg, NM, what was once its thriving commercial and motel district; with the main route of I-10 being on the southside of town, the motels and chain restaurants are now there. One important claim to fame for Lordsburg was that, at the time that segregation was legal, it had one of the few motels between Los Angeles and El Paso that would accept African-Americans.
