Coos Bay McCullough Bridge (#1129)

All of the Oregon US 101 bridges built in the 1930's were found to have levels of corrosion from the salt air that made the supports vulnerable; the corrosion even required the demolition and replacement of one of the bridges from that era (see Alsea, #1136). The Oregon Dept of Transportation developed a means for saving the other bridges, which is what is happening at the construction site seen here.
