Hollywood non-Target (5126)

Target store that was being constructed in Hollywood but construction was stopped with a court order. The area in which the construction was occurring is zoned for buildings no higher than 35 feet, but the Target would be 74 feet.

City councilmen Eric Garcetti (now Mayor Garcetti) had encouraged Target to seek an exemption for the 35 foot rule, but the judge ruled that the basis for the exemption was not valid.
