PS Gay Pride Parade 3 for 1 (5051)

It's still ironic. We (gays) started having relatively positive relations with police fairly on in the movement, partly out of increasing acceptance by police of the need to arrest for 'fag bashing' . At the same time, though, police departments around the country and even here in Riverside county still occasionally practice entrapment, still publicly release names of entrapped gay men who are arrested on minor sexual offences but don't do the same on straight men in similar arrests, or are part of the security operations that periodically place levels of enforcement on gay bars that aren't placed on straight bars. My experience with individual cops are typically relatively okay, it's usually some homophobe higher up or an elected official wanting easy press about being 'tough on crime.' Shifting tone entirely.... at least some cops are good 'eye candy' in the parades.......
