I often wonder how creatures like birds perceive human artifacts. Does a car process any differently to them than, say, a buffalo? How many species recognize the patterns of movement?

It would be hard to say here since we've taken away so much of their wetlands that there is limited choice as to where to roost. Just based on casual observation, it seems that sound (other than loud booms) isn't nearly as much of an issue as the consequences that are associated with mechanical sounds (e.g., pavement, pollution).
